Parallel Universe

In a season of great prophetic breakthrough, the greatest contentious battle occurs. I still have a firm unshaken belief that our new decade commencing from 2020 is one of the most prolific we will ever have - dreams, prayers, visions that are in the pipeline are clearly the manifestations that we will have to more than ever fight for.
Now, as Christians, we almost certainly have to acknowledge the duality of our existence on earth. This duality is evidenced in our everyday existence and speech, for example, our most common prayer says “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth AS it is in heaven”. Another example is the exhortation of Paul when he says, “everything that is good and everything that is evil is all working together for my good”. A further example the below extract which I will zero in on.
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
24 "…The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”
On the cusps of our dreams and visions manifesting, immediately evil will come to sow tares, alternatively weeds, unprovoked, uninvited and quite unexpectedly. Satan will attach himself to the seed and blessing that God intends for our lives with the intention to steal it away. Now we all know the harmful nature of weeds - they reduce farm and forest productivity, they invade crops, smother pastures and in some cases can harm livestock. They aggressively compete for water, nutrients and sunlight, resulting in reduced crop yield and poor crop quality. Simply, satan comes to smother and attempt to destroy that which God has purposed for our lives. This is unfortunately the parallel universe we are operating in in our earthly environment.
The good news though is that we have been given a loving and protective commandment to not be troubled in such times. We should at all times focus on the Word of God and leading of the Holy Sprit in our lives because what happens at the same time is that God promises His protection day and night (see Ps 91). But more than that, and actually the real game changer for me is what God causes us to become at such moments. We are becoming strengthened, we are persevering and our character is being fortified. The net result is that as our spiritual muscles are becoming embedded in our being. We, at the same time are walking towards our victory where God, at the right time will “gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, ...”.
So what is it all for? Well in a state of good existing alongside evil, we are called upon to be beacons of light, alternatively hope. Now in order to bring upon light, by being a beacon of light, there is the need to first acknowledge the darkness that we live in on earth, which inherently is in a corrupted state. Our purpose is to live out the blueprint of our lives that God has intended which has as the ultimate outcome to get the victory, the harvest.
Last night, I was having a WhatsApp chat with someone and I asked said person how 2020 is fairing for him (being mindful of the anxiety of course of this COVID-19 matter). In a nutshell he said this matter is actually throwing him off track. Therein lies the issue - as God loving people, we should not be paralysed from our God given goals for our year because of something that was not planted by God. If anything, in moments of this uncertainty, we should be looking out for creative and innovative outcomes to reaching our goals. That is, we should refocus our minds (and more importantly be more prayerful) and repurpose our resources because the reality is that trials/tribulations will are not going anywhere, so therefore should our visions, joy and peace also not desist.
God always has the victory.
