Glorifying in the Lord

so then, as it is written [in Scripture], “He who boasts and glories, let him boast and glory in the Lord.”— 1 Corinthians 1: 31. [AMP]
We all have an innate desire to exalt ourselves in some way. The highest and lowest social classes of men, as well as the wealthiest and poorest, the best educated and least educated, all boast. Solomon and the fool both boast; David and Goliath both boast; Pharaoh and his slave both boast. Even the most humble people have a propensity to brag. Yes, good men do brag, and during their weakest moments, they have boasted about very unworthy things. Remember how Hezekiah opened his caskets and displayed all of his priceless possessions to the ambassadors when they arrived from Babylon? Hezekiah no doubt revelled as he took them from treasure house to treasure house and showed them all his wealth. However, it was an evil thing, and the Lord was furious with him for boasting (2 Kings 20:12-19). He commanded the prophet to prophesy that all of his prized possessions would be taken as plunder by the very people whose ambassadors he had been so pleased to see.
Glorying was bestowed upon the very first human being to enter this world (Cain), and his mother exclaimed, "I have gotten a man from the Lord," as she gazed upon him in delight. Unfortunately, Cain killed his sibling and was a descendant of the serpent rather than the head-bruiser. Even if it's a beloved child, the thing we take pride in might end up being a pain in our backs, a Cain rather than a solace. Jacob takes great pride in Joseph's regal cloak, but when he saw that its many hues had been transformed into a blood-red shade, he began to cry.
Good people have a tendency to exalt themselves, and occasionally they exalt themselves in unworthy things. The cure for vain glory is true glory. Glorying in the Lord is the antidote to glorification of men, glorification of wealth, and glorification of oneself. Whoever wishes to exalt himself should exalt the Lord. We will now talk about that text.
GLORY IN THE LORD IN PRACTICAL WAY
Our exaltation in the Lord should make us known to everyone around us, just as the rose reveals itself. There is no better method that I am aware of to get rid of problematic individuals than to frequently mention Jesus. There are some talkative people who annoy you with their evil discourses; introduce them to the Lord Jesus Christ, and they will quickly leave because they won't enjoy such serious conversation; at the same time, better companions will cling to you and be eager to join you in holy glorying.
Stand up for the Lord when he is resisted and let the Lord be glorified. Put in a word for Jesus if you hear the arrogant mock his message and hate his followers. Say, "I am one of his disciples," and make a statement. Hate on me! I share those beliefs; mock me! I worship the Lord God of my ancestors in the manner that you regard as heresy. This is a useful method to honour Him, but many people who have become respectable and wealthy are far too cruel to put it into practice.
Re-glorify him by remaining composed in the face of difficulty. Say, "No, I do not serve a changeable God, and I am not to be put down, for the Eternal God is my refuge, and beneath me are the Everlasting Arms," when others are fretting and worrying. Hold your soul in patience. If an individual has God on his side, he does not shake. If God chooses to give me trouble, I will happily endure it.
We show real adoration for the Lord by despising the things that others hold in such high regard. Do not chase the globe with greed. Love God too much to be concerned about material things. If God grants you wealth, acknowledge him and put it to good use. Do not be concerned if he does not. The greatest wealth is having your relationship with God. You also have a little heaven below as well as a bigger heaven up above. Celebrate what you discover about your God. Be sanctified. God's Spirit may be with you. Let your dialogue take place in paradise. Thus, glorify God and make men who see you feel as though there is something they cannot comprehend about you because you were with Jesus and learned from him. " He who boasts and glories, let him boast and glory in the Lord." in all of these ways.
May He propel you toward Jesus. I hope you believe in Him and find true salvation! For the sake of Jesus, the Lord bless you in this situation. Amen.
